Thailand, a paradise on earth. This incredible country has always been on my list of places to be visited, until one day I found an air ticket for a great price, leaving from Marseille (where I lived) and arriving in Bangkok.
It was a 10-day trip, somewhat short, given that backpackers from all over the world spend months traveling in Asia. Soon, I would have to make the most of my stay.
The travel plan was to arrive in Bangkok then catch a flight to Krabi and stay there for somedays and then go to PhiPhi Island staying. In return I should stay another day in Bangkok to take my flight back home.
Let's get down to business:
DAY 1
After a 12 hours flight, with a conexion, I arrived in Bangkok at night, I went straight to my Hostel just to leave my bags and left for one of the most famous streets in the city: Khao San.
In this street you have the privilege to see scenes like these:
Review of Super Heroes
Exotic local foods
Soon I made friends with some tourists and we drank some beers, nothing better to start a friendship, right ?! Hahaha
Unfortunately, I should go back to the hostel early since the next morning I would lead to Krabi !!!
DAY 2
At first I underestimated Krabi a little, but I had to get there to get to PhiPhi, it was like a mandatory passage, but this town surprised me.
Early in the morning, when my flight arrived I just took a cab to my hostel (By the way, it was an amazing hostel that I will tell you later 😉) and while I was waiting for the check-in time I went to this local-food restaurant.
A dish like this shown on the photo + a bottle of Coke costed me something like 3US$.
The plan for this day was just to visit the Railay beach.
As i
t is accessible only by boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access, I went to the Aonang beach and took a boat that costs like 2.5US$. These cliffs attract rock climbers from all over the world, but the area is also popular due to its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere.

I stayed in such an incredible Hostel, the Slumber Party Hostel, which was always organizing activities and parties for its guests, which helped me to explore the region even more.
